Built with military inspiration and a seriously stealthy look, the Stirling Durrant Black is a rugged automatic timepiece designed to combine durability, functionality and understated style.
The Durrant takes inspiration from Second World War commando operations, with its blackout appearance designed to keep the watch low-profile while retaining the practical features expected from a serious field and dive-style watch.
At its heart is the reliable NH35 automatic movement, offering approximately 42 hours of power reserve, self-winding operation and hacking seconds. The 42mm case is manufactured from 316L stainless steel and finished with a hard-wearing DLC coating for added resistance against scratches, oxidation and demanding conditions.
The watch also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a ceramic unidirectional count-up bezel and a screw-down crown. With water resistance rated to 200 metres / 20 ATM, the Durrant is designed to handle far more than everyday wear.
The hands and hour markers are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova. On the Blackout version, Stirling deliberately uses a reduced amount of luminous material to preserve the distinctive dark appearance of the watch.
